Donal Freeman – 8th Degree Data Shaman/Managing Member, Diversified Technology LLC
Don is a 30-year IT veteran with a wide range of knowledge. From wireless engineering, to front line support, and even 5 years as a technical analyst in casino security environments, Don’s knowledge of IT is only surpassed by his likable nature. Always curious, Don enjoys tinkering and spending time in the lab, finding new ways to add value to IT management.
Thomas Goodman – Technology and Compliance Consultant
Thomas joined Diversified Technology in 2024 to lead the transition into security and managed services. With six years of IT experience and a strong background in network engineering, cloud-hosted VoIP, and cybersecurity deployment, he specializes in the details, especially compliance and documentation. Thomas began honing his skills in risk mitigation and regulatory standards during his previous career, where he worked extensively with the Association of American Railroads’ Manual of Standards and Recommended Practices and with R2/RIOS Data Destruction Standards. An avid reader of stereo instructions, cybersecurity was a good fit when he became an IT guy.
Mike Naglee – Microsoft 365 and API Integrations Specialist
Mike joined Diversified Technology in 2025 to support front-line operations and the back-end of Microsoft integrations. With a background in scripting, automation, and Azure management, he brings four years of experience maintaining user-facing systems administration and programming environments. Also, he is just the nicest guy.
Our History
Diversified Technology, LLC, was founded in 2020 by Donal Freeman in Huntington, West Virginia. Initially formed as a cabling and infrastructure company, Diversified rapidly expanded into VOIP sales and network management, as well as physical security applications such as CCTV and access control systems support.
In 2022, Diversified Technology became a TP-Link Omada Channel Partner and began offering cloud-managed SD-WAN networks for small businesses. Growing as a budget-friendly IT firm on the success of these networks, our company now has dozens of clients who trust us to manage their voice and data technology day-to-day.
Diversified Technology entered the cybersecurity space in 2024, expanding to meet the increasing needs of our client base. A natural fit with our track record of successful physical security deployments, we have slowly and methodically made sure that our most sensitive clients have been brought up to compliance standards in their respective industries.
